must be a 2009 graduate from a Senior High School administered by the School District of the City of Pontiac

The National Center for Health Marketing's Global Health Odyssey Museum is pleased to offer the 2009 CDC Disease Detective Camp (DDC). Exploring Engineering at the University of Maryland (E2@UMD) is a one-week summer program for high school women (rising juniors or seniors) who are considering engineering as a possible major and career. Pontiac Veterans Memorial Corporation - Education Scholarship

The Pontiac Veterans Memorial Corporation is offering a $1,000.00 scholarship to attend a jr college, trade school, college or university. Among other guidelines, the winning candidate must reside in the City of Pontiac and be a graduating senior from the Pontiac School District. Teen Advisory Board

Join the PPL's Teen Advisory Board. This board meets once a month and was created so that the teens of Pontiac could have a forum to discuss what they would like to see at the library. Have an idea for a program that you'd like to see? Let us know! Want us to order a certain book? Tell us. We meet the third Wednesday of each month for 30 minutes. It's a very casual, informal meeting where your opinions can be heard.

Wednesday March 18 5pm-5:30pm

Wednesday April 15 5pm-5:30pm

Wednesday May 20 5pm-5:30pm

We meet in the Michigan Room (just ask a staff member where it is) and pizza is served.
